This was a song that my dad wrote for the Harpswell Islands Elementary School.
He (being a local songwriter) was asked to find or write a song about Harpswell, Maine. After looking around for quite some time, he couldn't find anything appropriate and wrote this song instead. He was ultimately asked to teach the kids to sing it, and then to accompany them in a school-wide assembly... I am in the process of finding the public performance with the children, but this is the studio recording he did.. (1992)
