Final Round Can You Bring It and Sing It Contest..
Theme: Fun Time In My Life
During my younger days of my life I had such a blast I will remember forever!!! It went on for many years every Friday and Saturday night! My sister, a girlfriend and I would hang out and sing at this place that had a green door and that's why I picked this song. Although we were not on the outside of that door we were the ones having a good time singing with a piano player and banjo player on the other side of that door. Sleep? Who sleeps when you could have fun instead hahaha We were up all night on weekends!! Ahhh those were the good ole days. Now I'm lucky if I could stay awake until 9pm hahahaha
The picture here is taken from a surprise 50th birthday party that I threw for my sister and girlfriend. As an added surprise for the girls, I hired these guys to liven up the party and to bring back those good ole days behind that green door. And I might add that the piano player is Bob Ringwald, actress Molly Ringwald's father. It turned out that Bob went to school with a couple of friends of mine and were in the same graduating class back in 1960.
The girlfriend I mentioned is one that I've known since elementary school and we are still good friends today and still get together now and then to sing.
Singing is still a big part of my life as you know and if you don't know, just take a look at the many songs I've sung here on Singsnap... hahaha
