THIS IS DEDICATED TO OUR DEAR FRIEND BOBBYG...

Bobby had a Heart Attack yesterday, just prior to this Easter Morning at 10:30AM...He is in the hospital and will be coming home hopefully on Tuesday for some much needed rest before he will go back into the hospital for Heart Surgery sometime next month... Bobby needs all of our Support right now and we know you will be happy to give back to him all the Love he has given us through his Beautiful Voice and Song with your Thoughts and Prayers...Please leave your warm well wishes for him here and keep Bobby and His Wife Maryann in your prayers...

UPDATE:
Howdy Everybody, I just got off the telephone with BobbyG, he is now out of the ICU and into a Private Room. He was doing some work at his home and had a Heart Attack. He was transported to the Hospital by Ambulance, and operated on with having a couple shunts put in and is going to have open heart surgery next month. He was in tears as was Rena & I, reading your wonderful comments for him! I will be talking with him later this evening, he was just served Dinner, sounding good too! (As well As could be expected anyway)... Thank You from BobbyG, he will be reading all of your comments when he is able, he was concerned to let you all know why he wasn't around... He cares about his SingSnap Family and all of his Friends!!! I thank Everybody once again for your Friendship, Support and Prayer's it's working!!! God Bless, David

UPDATE:
BobbyG, stated that "he is in good spirits tonight and in complete awe over the outpouring of love and support from all his friends here on Sing Snap..."

Continued: "He seemed in good spirits...had just showered and was feeling better...He laughed a few times as we talked...He is having a hard time with having to stay in bed...he's not the type to lay still...LOL...but he is happy that he is not hooked up to as many machines and can move around a bit...he's already called in someone to fix the shower...he had to take a cold shower but he did not care...it was good to take a shower...He remembered the whole day and what happened...and is happy they got to the hospital as soon as they did...seems during the angioplasty they found a more serious problem that if not caught now could have resulted in a massive heart attack...so to me this is a blessing in disguise...but still very serious and Bobby continues to need all our support and prayers....Bobby is understandably worried about the surgery! Bobby is very touched by the overwhelming outpour of love and support from his Sing Snap Family! We all need to keep Bobby and his Family in our thoughts and prayers and ask God to take care of him, heal him and bring him back to us soon!"

12:00 PM Update:
Bob is busy with his Cardiologist running tests. He requested that I call him back in 30 minutes! He sounded to be in good spirits! More soon...

UPDATE 3-24-08 1:50 CA TIME
David & I have spoke to Bobby. Sounds good, he just had some testing done on the heart. He is not happy with his current cardiologist as they found out that his main artery is 70% blocked. He can't have anymore shunts put in and that is the reason for open heart. He doesn't understand why his current cardiologist didn't catch that. He will be looking for another before he goes into have open heart in 4 weeks. He said he likes the hospital he is at, it is different then any he has been in before. He said he can order food anytime and they deliver it, just like room service. They want him up and walking around more to get him back into a regular routine. Blood pressure is being kept extremely low as to not work the heart so much. He is looking forward to being released on Wednesday and can't wait to play catch up on all the wonderful comments and dedications from his SS family...He is overwhelmed. He told David he was singing in the shower last night....Can't keep a good man from singing LOL We will be talking to him further tonight. UPDATE 3-24-08 7:00 PM CA TIME
BobbyG's Enzyme Levels are too high as of this evening and the Doctor told him that he won't be released from the Hospital until the Enzyme Level is normal... Otherwise he has no chest pain, is comfortable and in good spirits! Bob and I just chit-chatting about everyone, I tried to relay all the PM messages for him as per requests, he can't wait to come home and see everything that everyone has posted for him, excited about that being the case, etc. I will talk with BobbyG again tomorrow afternoon!!!
Either Rena or I will post any new issues when they arise and we will let you know when he goes home.

GREAT NEWS JUST SPOKE TO BOBBY AND HE IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING RELEASED. HE IS GOING HOME. Thank you all for all your wonderful blessings, song dedications and the show of so much love....you all are great. Bobby will continue to need your prayers though as he still has to have open heart surgery in a month. We will let you all know when the scheduled date for that is.....From the bottom of our hearts we all thank you for your frienship and support.

Update from Bobby on May 1, 2008:

Hi David and Rena...hope all is well there...went to the doctor today..just got a call back from them..they have me scheduled for an angiogram at 5:30am Monday morning..They will check out my heart including the blocked main artery...Sounds like they will try to stent it if they can...They will decide when they do the test...If not it will be bi-pass surgery...My doctor said I would probably go home and have a chance to talk to the doctors before the surgery if that is the decision...that is where it stands right now..I have to go in tomorrow and have lab work done..Maryann or I will keep you posted...love ya both, Bobby
