oKAY HERE GOES!!!
That little girl was me!!!! I came from a very abusive background, my Mum was abused sexually & physically and the circle never broke she attracted men that bared a resemblance to her Father and therefore the abuse remained. If it wasn't Mum that was hiding the bruises it was my brothers and I. I would publicly flaunt my bruises hoping and praying that the teachers would notice but they turned the other cheek. When my stepfather broke my cheekbone I was kept from school I remember looking out of the window and waving to some neighbours of ours I used to stay with sometimes, even they were too scared to speak.
I went to stay with my Father for a while and I remember I was so excited he had bought me a Loopy Loo doll that turned inside out and became Andy Pandy, pre-payment for the sexual abuse I would suffer at his hands!!!
My Mum was married 3 times and each time her bloke was the perfect gentleman until he got a foot in the door and then the monster within would rear its head.
I never thought it would ever end I tried to run away and eventually I met Shaun he was gentle and kind, made me laugh and forget all that was bad. But I treat him like crap for a good few years. I realised that the circle had to stop with me. I've had 4 beautiful children and my god it's not been easy, we lost my daughter Cheryl and we have been through some damn hard times, but we have come thru the other side and we are good strong people for it.
I went into teaching to give back what I had lost and I manage a football club and football team which takes pride in keeping youngsters off the streets and helping them to achieve a goal in life!!!!
