well al..we are thinking alike this morning.. i just recorded it too and going to post it here today also... it is a beautiful old song and my father-in-law use to play it on the violin while his son was in the war... great sing....buddyg

Hiya Al...You did a lovely job singing this beautiful tune. I'm a bit too young to associate it with WW2 but I remember hearing the song...remember I have 4 older sisters lol.
Al, I tried to sing this with you but SS won't let me because Im no longer Gold. I let it go until after my surgery. Doc said 4 mo. recovery time so don't know if I'll be able to come on or not.
