Oh, I know what you mean about the missing growing as time goes on.... there are still so many times that I think "I've got to phone Mom." When something wonderful happens, when something tragic happens, when I'm just feeling lonely and missing all the wonderful times we had as a family.
You NEVER get over losing a parent!
Thank you so much for singing this beautiful song for us!

Ida-Fina if winter comes every year, why am i never prepared for it?! lolNightingale Idol round 3 - a song that touches the heart... This one is for my mom who died of cancer when I was young. Everytime I hear this song I think of her. I´ve always missed my mom, but it seems the sorrow deepens, in a way, the older I get. I´m so sorry she couldn´t be there on my wedding day - and most of all that she never got to know her grandkids. I know we´ll meet again someday - but will it be the same? This recording is the fourth this night - the first three I cried so hard you couldn´t hear half of the lyrics at all... This version is somewhat controlled - I went through it on sheer will power - but I´m still a bit pitchy at times where the tears wells up again... I hope my love for my mom shines through, because this one´s for her. Jag älskar dig, mamma!
