Have to use crayons that write
The color on their sleeve
'Cause I think there's not much difference
Between red, or orange or gold
But at least I'm not more color-blind than that...
It's not easy to see green
For me it blends in with so many other
Different color schemes
And I tend to make grass ochre,
Or perhaps an orange sun,
Or teal-colored squirrels or whatever
Or a purple sky...
But green's been described to me
So I at least have a clue
As to what it might be like
But to me it looks blue, IN the ocean,
And gray, on a mountain,
And brown on a tree...
When green is such a mystery
Though I may be color-blind,
But my color's my color
I have green, at least in my mind,
It's beautiful
And I think that's
Good enough for me
