I was so happy you chose this! This is one of my favorite tenor pieces, but it's hard to give it both the passion and tenderness it needs. I think you achieved that perfectly!

On some of the higher notes, it sounded as though it was too much in the throat--especially the "ee" in Maria in the series of marias that get higher and higher. It's easier to determine why when your on cam, but it's probably due to pulling the edges of the lips back on the "ee", which pulls the tone back into the throat. If you try to keep the focus forward, you should find that sequence much easier and a rounder, more focused tone. Same thing with the "ah" in the last Maria before the ending.

The ending, though was absolutely gorgeous! Excellent job!
