Your opening and closing notes have the beauty of the sounds you make with your flute, rounded and whole and just gorgeous.
The photographs are stunning, the lake wow! I would love to walk round that one, but I fear it might take me a while. Just to sit there quietly and listen to the silence (of being still) would be good too.

Bonny Portmore is a public domain traditional Celtic folk song, which details the centuries of Ireland's old oak forests being leveled for military and shipbuilding purposes. Specifically The Great Oak of Portmore.
The Great Oak of Portmore stood on the property of Portmore Castle on the shore of Lough Beg.
This song is still relevant to day
as we see more and more of our forests
lost to 'progress'.
Matheson Lake, 5 minutes from my home by car....
The slide show with this song is made of phtotographs outside my home.
