Cinderella is a Rogers & Hammerstein musical written in 1957, specifically for televsion performance. The original, version of this musical starred Julie Andrews. However, most baby-boomers remember the 1965 teleplay starring then newcomer, Leslie Ann Warren. More recently, Disney released another version staring Brandy.
No matter which version you recall, the story remains universal and the music, which varies a bit from version to version, retains its uplifting feel. While difficult to find, this track enables Yvonne and I to record this as performed in 1965 by Leslie Ann Warren and Stuart Damon. (Yes, the long time General Hospital star played the Prince in this production).
