Betty Stookey (Noel Paul's wife) is an ordained minister, and was the chaplain at the prep school my son attended. One afternoon Noel (Paul) was doing a concert for the students. My son knew what a fan I was, so he called me and told me to come up.

After two hours of driving, I had to go to the loo, so I made my way backstage to find it.... and who should be standing there getting ready to go onstage?

Yep, Noel himself! I said "Oh, I guess i'd better wait if you are going on now." He said, "No, I'll wait for you."

Holy ****!!!! Paul Stookey was holding up his concert for me to go to the toilet!!!

So, I took care of business, then found a seat. He got on stage, looked over at me, and made sure it was ok to start his concert.
