Hey there! .. Thanks for checking out my profile. I have come to know and love SingSnap. I have always enjoyed singing and had a secret passion to sing my heart out to the world. Of course I am also terribly shy about it, and would never, ever sing in public. SingSnap enables people like me to express their passion for singing and still remain (somewhat) anonymous. I first started singing at SingSnap with a headset mic from Wal-Mart. This was fine for starters, but I wanted more. I soon discovered that if I wanted my songs to sound the best they could be, then I would need to invest in some audio equipment. With the help of my SingSnap friends, I learned what to buy...without breaking the bank!

the mic and cables were purchased new....prices and quality vary, shop around..... the mixer was bought used at a popular auction site....all of this could be had with cheaper brands and cheaper prices....I wanted to start with quality because I wanted it to sound good and last a while.... so far, I have not been disappointed one bit.

yes, it takes a little money at first...maybe just buy the cheap stuff right now, and then replace items one at a time with better stuff later... the sound quality is amazing compared to a webcam mic or headset
