For the record ... I don't have time for petty a$$ crap ... Life is too short and too precious to worry about what such pleasant (and yes, I said PLEASANT, it was not a typo) individuals have to say. So, I won't.
I will never be able to find the words to express how deeply touched I am at the outpouring of love and song for Donald. Donald touched the life of every person he came into contact with whether it was face to face or on the internet. He was and always will be unforgettable and he will be deeply missed by so many people.
My mother passed away in '91 and I didn't think that I was going to survive that loss and honestly did not feel whole again until Donald came in my life. I was kinda bruised, battered and broken when Donald found me and he really did put me back together and made me remember all the things about myself that I had forgotten along the way. He put the song back in my heart and surrounded me with laughter. I will always have his song in my heart, but it will be the laughter that I miss the most. In time I know that I will be okay, even though Donald is gone, I still have the love that he glued me back together with.
Donald came with this HUGE wonderfully awesome family and I am honored to be a part of it. People have asked me this week if I planned on staying here, as I don't have any family here and before I answered I looked around and thought I have more family here then anyone could ever hope for. I have no intentions of leaving here, this is my home and this is where the BIGGEST part of my family is!!
Joe ... thanks so much for everything. You will never know how much it meant to have you and Dora here with me to lay Donald to rest. He thought the world of you and considered you another brother. Keep singin' and Keep smilin' it's what the would have wanted.
Mandi Lou ... Without you and Robin, I would have completely fallen apart. You were the sister he never had and he loved ya! He spent the last couple of months making sure that you had people to look after you!! ;-) Love ya SIS!!
Robin ... What more can I say then thank you from the bottom of my heart. Love ya GF!! The only enormous thing about you is your heart and you proved that over and over again the last week. I am so grateful that the Good Lord brought into my life!!
Stetson ... I went back to listen to the dedications ya'll did for each other the other night and I guess they were taken out the other day. Gotta love muh Duckie Trump! Thanks for checking up on me and I know where to come if I need some drinks on the house!!
And please remember that life is too short not to tell the loved ones in your life what they mean to you. Don't hold grudges or wait for someone else to take the first step because when it is all said and done at the end of the day .... none of it really matters! And please, please, please go and have your hearts checked.

Update .... The men in my life now have some tough competition. Austin Kayden Thomas was born at 137pm CST on March 4, 2008. My first grandbaby and there is no better feeling in the world! Check out my SLIDEshow for pictures!!
Let's see ... I am married to DUCKMAN! He is an amazing man and the only one I want to sing me to sleep at night. He's helped me remember all the things I'd forgotten about myself along the way. Thanks Baby!! I love you!! I have two boys, Tommy is almost 20 and Brandon just turned 18. They are and always will be the ones that keep me grounded and trudging along. Then there's the daughter of my heart, Jordan, she keeps me on my toes. She's 10 going on 25 and can always make me smile, even when she's stomping on my last nerve!!
I had said before that you probably wouldn't ever find a recording of mine on here, and Duck was doing his best to change that. There are people who can sing (some better then others) and some people who can't. I am definitely one of those that can't. But, I have absolutely no resistance where Duck is concerned. He has a way of getting me to do things that have NEVER been done before and have spent my life swearing there was NO way it would ever happen. So, I now have recordings on here!
