I'm gonna take a break from Singsnap for a while... I'll stop by to sing and for the occasional listen, but not like before... What better song to end my current run on Singsnap than this little gem, probably the one song I am best known for...

Just like to say thanks so much for everyone who has come to my page and listened/commented or sung duets with me, sharing music is really what this site is all about... IF YOU HAVE A SPECIAL TUNE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE FOR ME TO HEAR OR WOULD LIKE ME TO DUET WITH YOU, PLEASE PM ME AND I PROMISE I'LL GET TO IT...

If you want to hear something very special, check this out... If you miss this you will surely be poorer for not having heard it... Janet singing Both Sides Now, one of the most moving, honest, and heartfelt songs I have ever heard...

If you have never seen the Barenaked Ladies Bathroom Sessions, you gotta check this out, they did a whole series of their hit songs on YouTube that are incredible:

I think Steve Miller said it best --- I'm a picker, I'm a grinner, I'm a lover, and I'm a sinner, play my music in the sun....Still workin on being a singer, lol

Here's one of the very best things about Singsnap, friends from the site I have had the distinct pleasure of having over at my house for jam sessions, in alpha order: BronxBruce (Bruce), Enoculator (Eno), JJMartin (JJ), JoiaRox (Joia), JooDee (Judy), Lil_Smak (Mike), MrPuff (Luis), Scribbly (Marilyn), Tortuga619 (Roman/Ro), and Wa11ace (Barry)

"The only thing that keeps a man going is energy. And what is energy but liking life?" Louis Auchincloss

"Life's tough when you're stupid." Sneaksss.

"Even a blind dog gets a bone every once in a while." Sneaksss.

"I may not agree with you, but I will defend with my life your right to say it. I also reserve the right to call you a dumb ass depending on how you choose to exercise your right of free speech." Sneaksss.

A few of my life experiences

Ate an entire box of chocolate.... when I was two.... under the bed.... and pretended I was saving the last piece for my Mom when she caught me, haha... Sneaky little devil even then, hehehe...

Watched every episode of Star Trek "Damn it Scotty, I need warp power now " and Hogan's Heroes "Sergeant Schultz, I see NOTHING" growing up

Kissed my first girl when I was 16, can't count how many after that, lol

Caught 11 fish in one day.... 11 different kind of fish.... six fresh water, five salt water in the bayous of Louisiana leading to the Gulf, hence the name Sportsman Paradise for my home state

Graduated Valedictorian in High School, voted smartest and most likely to succeed. Actually wanted to be voted cutest or hunkiest, but I was too big of a frickin dork in high school for any of that, lol

Cruised down a deserted beach highway at 120 mph in Destin Florida on spring break with all windows down and Born to Run on the radio as loud as it would go

Dove among sea snakes off the coast of Cuba, yeah real deadly sea snakes, not a play on words

Rode 35 foot seas in the North Atlantic on a Navy Destroyer, was on 1st U.S. Navy Ship to visit Cyprus in 40 years, and cruised into the northern waters of the Black Sea when U.S. and Russia were not exactly on "friendly" terms

Came back from my first overseas deployment to watch my son walk up to me and hug me around my legs, he wasn't walking yet before I left. I had to sit down for a few hours after that

Saw Eric Clapton, Heart, Boston, Van Halen, Styx, Kansas, ELO, Jimmy Buffett, Rush, Stevie Ray Vaughn, WAR, Five for Fighting, Chicago, Stylistics, Cheap Trick, Huey Lewis, Jersey Boys, Benny Mardones (remember him?), Bachman Turner Overdrive, Marc Broussard, Fergie, and Doobie Brothers live

Beat the state champions in doubles tennis in Louisiana

Saw John McEnroe play at Wimbledon and saw Rod Laver play Bjorn Borg in an exhibition match

Shot five three point baskets and three from half court in a row

Climbed the Great Wall in China, visited the Vatican (twice), saw the Pyramids in Egpyt (twice), Valley of the Kings, and cruised the Nile

Saw the final resting place of Jesus in Jerusalem, actually all three of them as pointed out by various tour guides on several of my trips there, lol

Ate steak at a Brazilian steakhouse... In Brazil... for like $4 because they have a frickin cow for every person in the country

Ate two lobsters in Portland Maine.... for lunch.... for like $7 because they have 10 frickin lobsters for every person in Portland

Visited 41 countries, but never been to Australia.... Can I get an invite from one of you hot Aussie chicks on here? ;)

Graduated from Annapolis and served in the Navy, retiring as a Commander in the Reserves. Totally honored to have served my country

Sang Sweet Home Alabama at the Las Vegas House of Blues with a live band and brought down the house, hell yeah!!! hehe....

Made it to the Singsnap Hall of Fame page, twice, probably the REAL legacy of my life, lol...

And if you read this far, I really appreciate you taking the time, but don't you have some frickin songs to sing or something? hehe...
