Hi, my name is Stephanie. I'm 27 years old and have been singing (non-professionally) for about 14 years.

I absolutely LIVE for singing, and have sang ever since I was a little girl (just around my room and things like that) but didn't discover that I had talent till I was about 12. I was in the 6th grade when my very first music teacher commented on my voice being very good. So, I was an avid choir member from 7th grade (the beginning grade that was allowed to take choir) up to my first two years in college (about 8 years). I would have been in choir even longer had I not had to drop out due to my health. I sang every chance I got. Although, the past several years I had not been been singing very regularly (had a chaotic few years) and my voice went downhill a bit. I have now been singing again (not performing, yet) and practicing to get my voice back to its full abilities and I have found a definite improvement, but still have a ways to go. Feel free to leave constructive criticism, but please be polite and courteous. =]

Oh, and a last little tidbit is: I sing a little of everything, but country is actually my musical "home".
