tombassinger's real name is Tom Wilson. Tom is 59 years old, is located in Ontario / Canada and has been a SingSnap member since March 24, 2008. So far he has made a total of 291 recordings.

I am a bus driver in Newmarket, Ontario which is in the Toronto area. I am 59 years old, divorced and, of course, I love to sing.

My first paid singing "gig" was when I was 7 years old, singing in a paid choir. This lasted for 5 years and then I took a sabbatical....(from being paid....not from singing)....until I was 16. I have loved southern gospel music since then and I have been singing mostly gospel music, although, when I turned 40, my musical tastes seemed to change, not FROM gospel music, but TO various styles including early standards (a la Sinatra and Bennett) and opera, as in Paul Potts.

I thank my Lord for giving me a chance to sing and I hope that He will allow me to have that priviledge until I draw my final breath.

There is so much talent on this site and I am happy that my friend, Wally, directed me to it. Keep up the good work, ladies and gentlemen...I'm loving it!!
