Sorry to have been away without an update for so long. I have been ordered not sing for a period of up to a year :( due to a nodule on my vocal chords. I will be taking speech therapy in a effort to correct this. another surgery is not an option! I hope to some day sing again. Something I would like to offer to all of the very talented individuals on this site. Always enjoy the gifts that God has given you. Until next time ;)

I grew up on the beautiful west coast of Newfoundland. Took voice lessons from the time I was 5. I would sing where ever and when ever I could...and drove many people crazy I am sure. During a high school pride week they even charged me in a kangaroo court for singing to much lol. I moved away and life made it too busy to sing the way I used too. After I had my two beautiful children I would sing to them every night before they went to sleep. In 2005 I had to undergo a very large surgery, They had to totally remove my thyroid due to cancer. They told me afterwards not to try to sing for some time to let the nerves heal. A year had past and I really wanted to sing again... I tried with very little luck I couldn't even hold a note..I was devastated. i went to my Dr. and he basically said that I may never sing again..or I may never be the same even if I could. So now I am out to prove them wrong!!!!! It may not be the same as it was..it has certainly come a long way. I hope you enjoy. I love feedback ty so much
