Original Song: American Trilogy By Elvis Presley Rewritten By: RedHeart 6-22-08 Title: Elvis Tribute © Thomas(RedHeart)Peterson COPYRIGHT June 2008

Ya know once upon a time..... There once was a singer named Elvis Presley He was destined to be a star. More than a star, he was the king every time he got on stage to sing. He Rock N Rolled while girls yelled and fell at his feet His voice and movements never missed a beat

Oh I wish I was in Dixie away away In dixieland I'll make my stand to live and die in Dixie

Turns out, his home also was a prison a victim of his very own stardom A get away, hide away, at a place he named Graceland Life became less and less fun He passed away though very young It's at Graceland, where he's laid to rest

glory glory hallelujah glory glory hallelujah glory glory hallelujah His memory is marching on

Elvis has lots of visitors every day. Some say, he is still here today. There's a Elvis look a like in almost every town trying to master his every movement and his unique sound Over thirty years since he passed away. He's more popular now and his popularity grows more and more each and every day

He put the glory in hallelujah and wore blue sued shoes He could make a jail house rock He also liked gospel and blues He would end every show singing American Trilogy He lived his life like a lot of the lyrics in the song 'My Way'.

glory glory hallelujah His memory is marching home His memory is marching home

On Monday July 7TH, my wife and I are traveling to Graceland to hand deliver the tribute and also CD's of all those SingSnap members whom joined me in the singing of this tribute. We have never been there, and are all excited about it!!!! I want to personally deliver it to Elvis and his family. A couple of short stories: My sister at 46 years of age, died some years ago in a tragic accident, God Bless her soul!!!! Word was that when she left work and was on her way home that day, her last words were that she was on her way to meet Elvis. Makes you wonder!!! In 1977, I took my wife to the Philadelphia Spectrum one Saturday morning, to see if I could get tickets to the Elvis concert that day. I ran back to my car waving two tickets I bought from a scalper @ $100.00 a piece. My wife thought it was a little out of our budget at the time. I turned around and sold the tickets for $200.00 a piece and gave the money to my wife. I always have regretted having done that because Elvis died two weeks following that. My wife always feels bad having said what she said that day because she knows how very much I wanted to see Elvis. Now, almost 31 years later, my wife said to me, "Why don't we drive to Graceland and hand deliver the Tribute you wrote to Elvis"!! I am finally going to see Elvis....... Only In America on the 4TH Of July could this happen to me!!!!!!! RedHeart is a lucky guy!!!!!!!! Your Friend, Thomas (RedHeart) Peterson

RedHearts response to tigress1167 on 6-26-08 @ 3:20 PM

tigress1167, this is quite a atrocity you have displayed about me. First off this being without my knowledge. I had to hear it from a person who heard it from a person. I was given no chance to rebuttal in defense of myself, nevertheless informed. I respect peoples opinion of me, yes. Respect peoples accusations of me, no!!

Firstly, I am not a scammer!! I asked friends, new and old, to join in singing the Fathers Day Tribute. What I thought was that there were a lot of members out there in SingSnap land that would like to personally sing and present the song to their Fathers as a gift to them for Fathers Day. Secondly, I asked friends, new and old, to join in singing The Elvis Tribute. Again, thinking that there were a lot of members out there in SingSnap land that would like to personally sing and be a part of a Tribute to Elvis.

No deception ever being made, whatsoever!! My notification giving members their own choice and they in so did.

You went on to call me a 'big spam artist'. This is not true!! You should have the decency to have substantial proof before you throw around accusations demeaning ones character.

I would like to address your your calling the "Hall Of Fame" a "Hall of Spam". In another forum you said, "Redheart floods the nominations to get a few into the Hall of Fame." Explain what you mean , "by flooding"?? If you mean that I asked the members I contacted to nominate "Happy Fathers Day" then yes I am responsible for asking for nomination only if they felt it was worthy of it. I have seen that practice widely used. For you to discriminate against me by accusing me of a wrong doing is not politically correct.

I do not focus anymore energy in seeking nominations to the 'Hall Of Fame'. Whatever songs of mine up their, are 100% on their own merit including the Fathers Day song. I do focus on my writing and singing. I do enjoy all the friends I have made in the 10 months of my being a SingSnap member. I do not involve myself in the social clicks nor contests.

I do not say I have to be well liked, nor a good singer, nor a good lyricist. As of yesterday my partnership with Beau Branson dissolved even. Beau chose to end it. So you see, I am on my own here and I choose to stay here regardless of how many people that might not like me or be jealous. I hold no bad judgment on anyone here at SingSnap and that includes you.

One thing in closing..... Many have chose to 'Block' me and that is their prerogative, for whatever reason. I didn't come here to block people, I came here to meet people and make friends and will continue to do so. I went to explain all this to Thomas (Contributer) dragon546, and after all that typing wasn't able to send my comment because he had 'Blocked' me. I find it amazing that happened. He jumped on your little band wagon and agreed with your consensus. I hope he gets to read this. Perhaps, he may regret is hasty decision.

God Bless, Thomas (RedHeart) Peterson
