Hi there...my name's Christine and I'm from Edinburgh in Scotland, but now living in St Andrews....the 'home of golf'. Before I go further, I'd just like to get rid of an old 'turkey' that comes up time after time. Lots of people ask if I've ever sung professionally or if I'm a trained singer...and the simple answer to these questions is no. I have never sung publicly - outside of a karaoke bar that is..except when I was younger and joined my local amateur operatic sociey! :0) My mother however, was classically trained and sang semi professionally for many years. She was one of the best singers I have ever heard. I come from a fairly large family and we all sing, so I guess we just come from a strong, singing gene pool!..lol Like everyone else on here, I just love singing so, SingSnap has become a big part of my life - and my addiction! I think that this site is second to none, and there is nothing comparable on the internet at least, not from where I'm standing! I therefore, had no hesitation in taking up a Gold subscription. This wasn't done just to benefit from the features exclusive to Gold members, but also to show some support to Trevor and the rest of the Singsnap staff and importantly, to try to ensure the continuity of this fantastic resource! I have met some wonderful people on Singsnap who I am now proud to call friends and I'm excited at the prospect of meeting many more!
