I am back home from Atlanta. Just got in about ten minutes ago. On the bright side, the travel aspect went great. Could not had gone any better. I drove just fine in Atlanta, did not get lost at all and did not cause a major accident any where. lol I don't know why all the cars pulled off to the emergency lane when they saw me coming though. ha ha ...just kidding but i am actually proud of myself for getting around so well in that big city. Now for the reason i went....I saw the best of the best at Emory and he confirmed the nerves in the middle ear are dying off. He says it could stay like it is forever or it may get worse. But there is no way to repair it or to find out what is causing it. Unless my hearing gets even worse than it is and i get the cochlear implant, all i can do for now is hearing aids. The test today shows that I have 36% of word recognition. Any way so that's the final appointment with a specialist and the final say so on whats wrong with my hearing.

Well once upon a time (all good stories start out that way..don't they?)....
a cat having it's tailed pulled...won over me in a karaoke contest.....
so that pretty much made me face the truth..I just can't sing. lol
But now if i had normal hearing.........(scroll on down)
. . . . I still would not be able to carry a tune!!
LOL just the way the good Lord made me. But he also gave me more than a healthy dose of love for music in my heart. And I was raised to believe that we must be true to our own heart.
So I sing.
Dang it feels good to sing doesn't it? Seems every thing in life that makes you feel good either gets you into trouble or cost lots of money. Everything but singing that is!
Any way thanks again for dropping by...I do try to return comments ...eventually. I prefer to do it when I have the time to truly listen so that my comments are sincere.
