Welcome to my profile page on SingSnap. Like all of you around here I love to sing. I started singing when I was 19 or 20 years old, but that lasted only for about 4 years. Then 2 years ago I met someone who got me interested in singing again. I signed up for a "workshop" band, so we had a little coaching on playing together etc. and at the end we would perform in front of a live audience. I can tell you I it was nerve wrecking the first time, but boy I love it now. If I had the chance I would climb up on a stage every weekend. My most impressive experience with singing was a gig we did November 2008. Monte Montgomery, an American master on the guitar, was playing in a local bar over here and we had the honour of playing at this sort of after party. And when such a great artist tells you he heared some of the music and liked it, you feel proud. I can tell you that. In 2008 FrankyGT, who I know from the "workshop" band circle and the local karaoke evening, mentioned he was singing on this singsnap site. So I decide to check it out. I'm hooked on it now. Wish there would be more stuff avaiable but that doesn't make this site any less interesting. Besides singing I love my job. I'm working as technical architect in the IT branch. Computers were my hobby and made it my work half way the '90s. It's a very busy job at the moment. In the last couple of months I have met some very wonderfull people on SingSnap. And I know I will meet more this year.

Beginning of 2008 we, Chick'n Karma, recorded a couple songs for a little demo. Some of the songs were uploaded to YouTube. I posted them on my profile page a while back, but I decide to replace those 4 videos with this little music flashplayer. All the song we recorded that day are available on it for listening. I found an old recording of The Cranberries song "Zombie" recorded with a digital photo camera on our first gig ever. I believe it was sometime in June 2007. We were just playing together for about 3 or 4 months. We were nervous as hell, but what a rush we got afterwards. I got an energy boost that lasted at least 3 days. The song has been removed from our setlist over and over again, but for some reason the female audience loves this song.
