I grew up in Massachusetts, and after marriage and two kids, moved to NH. Got divorced about 5 years ago, and have recently moved to California (2006). I love the weather here, in Sacramento, its great cuz even in the winter it doesn't do any worse than rain, and anywhere I don't have to shovel or drive in that white crappy stuff that falls from the sky, I'm happy! Been singing karaoke for only 3 years, and can not believe that I never tried it before I did!!! Our family sang in the car all our lives, our Mom made us so that we wouldn't fight in the car!!! You could always hear our car coming about a mile away!!!
We sang anything from church hymns, to pop music (that was the 70's), to the Beatles, to country! Whatever our mother made us sing! So we come to this naturally! The One thing I always remember fondly in my life is the way my Mom sings, She really has the voice of an angel!!! Thanks Mom for my love of music!
