Well, let's see. I am a happily married wife of 28 years this coming August 1, 2008. I have a grown married daughter who has blessed me with two grandsons who I adore. The big brother is turned two years old on December 11, 2007 and the youngest will be a year old on July 14, 2008. I just found out that my daughter is pregnant again and is due in mid January 2009. Mercy, do I feel old! I have a son who turned 18 on the Fourth of July, 2008. He's been a firecracker ever since he's been born. LOL He will be staying at home for a couple years, though. He is going to community college for two years before transferring to a university. He will have free room and board and pay much less for the "crappy" classes that are required for a four-year degree, but have nothing to do with his major.

My husband has worked for a major bank as a computer programmer/systems analyst for the past 22 years. I used to be a high school marketing teacher. When I was laid off and got pregnant around the same time, I decided to be a stay-at-home mom. I don't regret it one bit. I hope to someday work from home on the computer in some capacity. I've thought about online tutoring.

Singing is such a passion for me and up until now I had only sang solos at church or at weddings. I won't go to a karaoke bar. Just not my type of atmosphere. I really appreciate SINCERE comments on my songs. If you listen to a song and don't like how I did it, or don't like my voice, that's cool, but please don't leave a flowery, mushy comment if you don't mean it. Just don't leave a comment. :-))

You will see that I have my ratings turned off. Maybe I'm just being picky, but I don't think anyone should be rated or should rate anyone else here. That's just me. I hope that most are here to have fun and don't expect to be "discovered." Let's face it. Unless we are real pros here, do we really have the qualifications to rate a person? I've also found that everyone here is so nice that even if I would suck singing, most will still give me 5 stars. I guess the exception might be if Simon from A.I. might listen. I don't think he'd give me 5 stars. hehehe

I don't want to be a star, not even a SingSnap star. I just want to do what I love doing and sing well enough to make my online friends happy.
