WELCOME TO ANYONE WHO IS READING THIS AND WELCOME TO MY ADDICTION! HEHEHE! I love this site and the friends I have made here. I thank Trevor and his staff for making this a special place for everyone.

I was in the choir in high school and in the junior girl's ensemble. When I went to college, I was part of a group called the I-Uppers out of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. We traveled anywhere and performed ethnic songs, dances and played instruments in costumes that are/were unique to particular ethnic/cultural groups. Of course, my main talent and passion is and was singing. Now I sing in the church choir, sing some solos for special music and I have sung at a few weddings. Our church used to have a praise team of ten of which I was a member. We performed more modern, upbeat music than the traditional hymns. I won't go to a karaoke bar. Just not my type of atmosphere.

I thank everyone who takes the time to listen and to comment on my songs. I have met so many friends on here. Please don't feel badly if I don't listen to your songs right away. I was never very good at multi-tasking more than sucking on a mint and walking at the same time. hehe You will also notice that I don't have my ratings on. It's just my opinion that ratings mean nothing. Everyone is so very nice here and I think if I just croaked into the mic like a frog I'd get a perfect 5 rating. lol I don't rate others either. I just think that I'm not qualified to rate anyone. Everyone has their own ideas about what is "good." I don't want to be a star, not even a SingSnap star. I just want to do what I love doing and sing well enough to make my online friends smile, laugh or feel a song in their souls.

STUFF ABOUT MY FAMILY FOR THOSE WHO ARE INTERESTED

I have been married for 28 years. I have a boy who turned 18 on the 4th of July and is going to community college before transferring to a university. My daughter is married and on January 20 delivered our first granddaugher. She already has blessed us with two boys.The baby is her third baby in the four years she's been married! She has her own photography business. Her husband teaches computers at the high school level, has his own computer shop, and sometimes travels to build or modify computer systems for businesses. My husband has worked for a major bank as a computer programmer/systems analyst for the past 24 years. I used to be a high school marketing teacher. When I was laid off and got pregnant around the same time, I decided to be a stay-at-home mom. I don't regret it one bit. I hope to someday work from home on the computer in some capacity. I've thought about online tutoring or learning web design.
