My birth name is 'Sammie Jean'. I was born in Oklahoma, then my family moved to Texas where I lived most of my life, until I met and married my husband, Bob. We moved to his hometown in Pennsylvania, over 50 years ago and I have lived here ever since.
I have five grown children and five grandchildren. One grandson is in heaven.
My beloved Bob, passed away in 2008, and I miss him very much.
I have always loved to sing, and my friend, Bev, also a SingSnap member, suggested I try it.
