Hi! Today, the first day of fall (Sept. 22nd) I decided to finally change my profile. I love life. I love MY life. It's changed quite a bit over the past few years, but I've learned that life isn't always what we think it will be. I want to travel, spend more time with family and leave at a moment's notice to see them if I want too. I LOVE New England. Might even buy a small cottage there for the summer month's. We'll see. I have plenty of time to decide that. I enjoy writing. I've written some short stories and I'm working on a novel. It takes forever, but I'll get it done in the next few decades! ; ) I've discovered I love to work with older people. They're so appreciative if I just take 10 minutes to chat with them. I've found the older the person, the better the stories get that they share with me. Especially men. Because 60 years ago, they were usually the ones that would go out to seek work. Some are pretty amazing. I hope they're telling the truth! lol I live in southern Colorado where the winter's are quite mild and the summers dry and warm...Sometimes downright HOT! I love to garden, but about all that grows around here are cacti. And I'm not overjoyed with the way those things look. So, there's a few trees, zeriscape landscaping and pots of flowers sitting around the yard. It's pretty and easy to maintain and I don't use much of this world's precious water supply. Ok, I'm done jabbering for now. I'll just say I love SingSnap and all the people who I've encountered here. SS is a new hobby. Not obcessed yet, but getting there! I hope your life is taking you where you want to go. If not, make lemonade! *wink* (I think most people will get the lemonade joke...I hope!) Legs aka Carol ~
