rubygold2 is 79 years old, is located in Kansas / USA and has been a SingSnap member since June 24, 2007. So far she has made a total of 287 recordings.

I have done programs for several years at care facilities, senior centers, churches, etc. I enjoy singing on Paltalk, and am looking forward to singing here and meeting other musicians.I'm not sure what other type of information is required, but after checking others here, I may feel it necessary to update.
Update: My husband and youngest daughter both died in 2003. I still have 2 very active/involved daughters. There have been numerous sons-in-law, and I've liked most of them. The two now are certainly keepers. There are 8 grandchildren, 4 greats and bunches of step-grands & greats. When we have a family dinner, my house really 'rocks.'
None of those folks are interested in singing with me, but they all tolerate my musical involvements. I love to go out to do karaoke (live). I'm involved with our local monthly 'Country Music Jamboree,' and sing in the choir at our church.
I've been honored to meet some extremely talented folks here in SingSnap. I've also been pleased to meet other regular guys, folks like myself, and really enjoy listening to all the different styles of singing and genre of music.
I've had a variety of occupations: managed a small weekly newspaper for 2 years, taught high school speech, drama, debate, and English, was licensed to sell real estate (even sold some) and was a deputy clerk in the US Bankruptcy Court. All this in addition to not missing the PTA meetings for 18 years.
MOST OF THE SONGS I'M RECORDING HERE ARE OF MY GENERATION, IN THE HOPES THAT YOUNGER PARTICIPANTS WILL LISTEN AND REALIZE THAT BACK THEN WE HAD SONGS WITH BEAUTIFUL LYRICS AND MELODIES. Speaking of the generation, I'm now 79.
