I love music and I enjoy listening to people sing and the voices on here knock my socks off WOW!. The talent on here is fantastic and if i had a voice like most of the people on here you'd never shut me up. Not only that , I think it's a perfect pasttime for everyone , those who sing beautifully as well as those who sing just because it makes them feel good or they like to make others feel good and isn't that what it's all about? :)
I sing sometimes, when forced too (rubs aching arm) lol, but I'm just a shy shower singer,,,I can carry a tune (I think) around the house and in the garden and that's good enough for me. Anymore than that and the songs will get too heavy (whew) I feel a bit self conscious about singing because I was in an accident a while back and got my 2 front bottom teeth knocked out and had to get a partial plate and I think I'll never get use to it, so it makes me sound as though I have a bit of a lisp. I'm also perfectionist so I'm a little bothered when I hear how I sound sometimes.
I will be taking my time putting out songs not only because singing isn't really my thing, but I thought I knew at least a million songs, even billions (ha ha) but when I joined SS I realized I didn't know anything (rolls eyes) sheesh! It's really a fun way to spend evenings at home and keeps you out of trouble (well most people anyway lol), providing you stay clear of the sharks and barracudas. Sometimes it can get pretty scary when you're surfing lol.....Happy singing friends...may all your SingSnap days be days that provide you with hours of fun and smiles.........see you around the SS stage :)
