Someone told me recently to give "just the facts." I guess they meant with everything in my life and not to share more than I should. I've learned that wearing my heart on my sleeve is NOT a good thing. In the end, I always end up getting hurt. So, here's "just the facts."

I'm told I am short and tiny and that is the truth.
I am a single Mom.
I have three very strong and incredible young men in my life ages 7, 13 and 15.
I live in the Pacific Northwest where the rain makes everything beautiful and green.
I am a teacher. My major is in Early Childhood Education.
Some of my sayings are:
Life goes better with chocolate.
Nothing will break me.
Through great pain comes great gifts, if we but look for them.
When you love someone, love them with all your heart. Even if it hurts in the end, you have at least tried. Don't back down. Say what you really feel. Before you know it, your life is at an end and you don't want to miss a thing.
I have too much pride and push people away. And it usually works.
I think that in life, when you are offered a "do-over," you should make the best of it, even if the hurdles are high. Keep reaching for the sky.
And finally, God has a plan laid out before me. I just can't see it yet.
