Hi all. I'm James's daughter Marnie. Sadly dad passed away last night at 1:10am. We got the call from palliative care and raced down to be with him but missed it by 5 minutes which I think is how he wanted it. 2 nurses sat with him and held is hand. They told me he passed very peacefully with his breathing just slowing right down until it eventually stopped. My mum and I sat with him for 2 hours to say our goodbyes. I miss him so much that it hurts but he would be much happier now then lying their in a bed not being able to do things he loved (especially Sing Snap). Many a night he would get us around the computer to listen to his new songs that he had recorded. It was something he truly enjoyed. Love you dad, RIP xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
