I'm a former singer whose age and health issues have done damage to vocal abilities much to my dismay.Son member of SS (trknduffer - best singer in our family) turned me onto this site and I am really enjoying some of the great talent out there (son included, of course). Working on restoring my voice and maybe one day, I'll be able to join in but, for now, I'm just a lurking listener, enjoying the music, contributing my expertise where I can and making friends..

Update: Many, many thanks to all of you for your support and encouragement. Making great progress! My vocal cords are regaining their strength and I'm even able to stay on key - most of the time. It's thanks, in great measure, to many of you - with whom I sing along. The breath control is a lot slower to improve but even that is progressing bit by bit. One of these days.......

Joy is singing and filling the air with music - and the Bible tells us to make a joyful noise unto the Lord!
