A little about me :) Im a mum of one 17 year old .. she is on here too lol , 4 dogs and a 24-toed ginger idiot cat that thinks he is a dog

... I used to sing a lot before my daugher was born .. but other than the shower and the occasional group nights out at a karaoke about umm .. omg .. 6.5 years ago .. and of course singing when doing the housework .. this is the first place I have sung publicly since I was about 21 ... oh boy .. didnt realise so many years had gone by heheh.

I think this place is a haven for me, music has always been close to my heart, have written a lot of songs, but music wasnt really a career for me as it wasnt approved of in my family, fine as a hobby tho, so I suppose that is where I have stood on doing anything with my music or singing :)

Looking forward to making some new friends ... hearing some really fantastic music (which isnt hard on here, there are so many Im in awe of already!!). PM me if you want to chat any time :)

UPDATE: November 9th 2008. Have been sick with a virus for the last few months so no singing (argghh) ... tried a little today for the first time but didnt even make it through a song before my throat started complaining lol .. I am hoping to be able to get my system (music & physically) up and running before Xmas as we are moving to the capital at the beginning of December to start a new phase of our life (oooh exciting!) ... really miss singing .. so busy packing this is the first chance I have had to check up on things for about a month .. but I do think of everyone often .. Hope all are well .. oh and Whoot for Obama!!! (lol)

I like to do songs in one take .. like Im performing live .. mistakes an all .. only because when I do it again later I would like to hope I improve next time lol ... it definitely keeps you on your toes ... although I do sometimes have to restart it if Im only halfway through and a customer comes in ... the sooner I get a decent computer at home to record on the better .. but then .. I probably wouldnt sleep much then heheh
