MinJamBe's real name is Gene Besch. Gene is 64 years old, is located in Florida / USA and has been a SingSnap member since November 24, 2007. So far he has made a total of 100 recordings.

Gene has been singing in bars and restuarants around the United States and Overseas. He began his career in Thailand in 1965 while stationed in Korat Thailand. He got the job when he was interviewed along with nine other possiblities. The owner asked each person whether they were any good. The others all said things like "Will take a listen and see". Gene, without being conseated said "Yes sir, I am good". He got the job without any audtions and when the owner stopped by during a performance he was heard to say, Confidence proves right everytime.
Gene continues to doubt how good he sings but believes that God gave him a better than average voice and has been told thousands of times how good he is. So what else should he think.
Gene is now looking to become a backup singer, eitherwith some pros or just singing with the local good ones.
He also writes songs and hopes to sell one someday but he is aware that at almost 63 He is not likely to become an overnight sucess as a singer.
He talks about Willie Nelson who took many years before people found out how good he sings but got by writing a few songs like Crazy and Night Life.
As I said earlier, Gene gives all of the credit for whatever abilities he has to God and desires to sing and use his God given talent, even if it is just on Karaoke websites like this one.
