HELLO ALL SINGSNAPPERS..... Just to let you all know.. I grew up in a very musical family... My father was a professional drummer, my mother was a Frank Sinatra fan... and my two brothers were both musically inclined. Reg played saxophone and keyboard... and Kevin, played several instruments, from guitar, accordian, keyboard, and had an awesome voice when he sang. I play piano.. however, nothing like they played. The one brother who turned out to be a Rock Star in my eyes.. was Kevin! Kevin was in several bands throughout his life, from playing in the band Spice.. which was a popular Beatles' style music band.... who actually sounded ... like the Fabulous Four! Kevin had that Paul McCartney style look and voice... and when he sang... you would think it was Sir Paul..... As the year 1985/86 era came about... Kevin had the chance of a lifetime.. to go to England and form the band the Cutting Crew, with Nick Van Eede .. who was in the band, The Drivers at that time... Nick met Kevin in Halifax, Nova Scotia.. when the band the Drivers were performing at the Misty Moon.. now this was a few years ago... I believe Kevin's band was backup band at the time.... Nick thought Kevin had a fantastic ability with the guitar... and asked Kevin if he would like to go to England.. and this is how it all started out.... Thus, The Broadcast Album came out... and I Just Died in Your Arms .. became a number ONE hit in the US..... and on Billboard charts....
