They had frequent jam sessions at their home as she was growing up. Marilyn started singing at the age of three and has sang professionally for a couple years in the early 1960's, sang in numerous choirs, small groups both mixed and women's only, led praise and worship in her church, leads singing in area retirement centers and enjoys getting together with friends every Friday evening for a "sing-along."
