I'm a recent college grad and a second year teacher. During the school year I spend most of my time trying to convince middle schoolers that reading really is important and (believe it or not) interesting.

During the summer -oh, how quickly it flies- I do my best to squeeze in all the writing, singing and traveling I can manage (aka: afford).

As far as music goes, I love a lot of things. My usual listens are rock and pop (with the occasional broadway musical song thrown in as a guilty pleasure), but country western has a special place in my heart. I grew up with it, so it's like the soundtrack to my childhood.
