Favorite tv shows:
Ghost Hunters without a dought!!! I have been watching that show since day one. It's awesome. Ghost Whisperer, I cry every time. First 48 on A&E, and America's Next Top Model.
Things I hate:
Spiders, heights, bridges, bridges over water, people who drive in the fast lane when they are going slow as crap, big crowds of people, talking on the phone, bugs in general, mean people, people who think they know everything (you don't so get a grip), child abusers/molesters, spouse abusers, rapists, pickles, tomatoes, spinach, the history channel, boring movies, and lots more.
Things I like:
Walks to the park with my kiddies, going to the beach, watching a sunset, going for a walk in the woods (with lots of bug spray), catching fireflies with my kiddies, watching romance movies (aka chick flicks), going to the movies with my sister, going to concerts with my sister, taking lots and lots of pictures, singing karaoke online, crystal light fruit punch or raspberry ice, bbq's, playing in the pool, bowling, Halloween, drawing, Myrtle Beach SC (I want to live there ya'll), hot chocolate with marshmallows, going to karate with my son, and I like it when me, my husband and kids get a chance to go out to dinner together.
Moment I remember most growing up:
The birth of my sister. I was two houses down doing cartwheels with the girls that lived there. My dad told me we had to take my mom to the hospital because she went into labor. I remember getting into the car and driving to the hospital. I remember going over the train tracks and my mom moaning in pain and saying "God, do you have to hit every bump!!!" then I remember pulling into the parking lot of the hospital (well the Emergency area) and they brought my mom a wheel chair. She said she felt like she was gonna be sick so they gave her a bucket and was checking her in. My brother and I were brought to the waiting area and then I remember my grandma, grandpa, my aunt sandy and uncle craig, my cousins: Robin, Kelly, Kerry and Maryann....all being at the hospital waiting for my sister to come. It seemed like forever but then we heard some crying and then we all went into the hallway and were looking through the nursery's window and saw a baby. At the time we were not sure if it was my sister or not but then we saw my dad walk into the room and knew it was her. She was tiny and pink and crying alot. Her leg was kind of twisted and didn't look right but they said it was nothing. She was a breach baby so I guess that's why it took a little longer to get her out. When she was 2 months old I remember going to a brand new doctors office with my mom because my sisters leg still didn't seem right. Right away the doctor ordered x-rays and our worst fears were realized. My mom began to cry and I didn't know what to do I was only 12. She had x-ray's done and she had bi-lateral hip displacia....both hips where out of place. They tried braces on her legs to get the hips in place but that didn't work. So, she ended up having surgery on both hips. She had screws and plates put in and has been through many surgeries. The full body casts never slowed her down. She would stand up along the couch and try to move!!! Her upper body strength was amazing for an infant. She had to be strong and I guess that's where she gets her strength today. I always wanted a sister and I got her 12 years after I was born.
Sports I was in:
In Middle School I ran track. I was on the relay team and ran the 400m. In High School I was in the Marching Band....ok so it's not a sport persay but it was difficult. So Na.
Sports I wish I did:
Softball, tennis, and High School Track (only ran in Middle School)
Friends I have written/talked to/seen since High School:
Sandy W, Michelle R, Michelle L, Erin C, and Christina.
Types of movies I like:
Romance (aka Chick Flicks), Scary Movies (not really horror, you know blood and guts), action, comedies.
Favorite candy:
OMG.....Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Peanut Butter M&M's or Mounds Bars
What did I want to be growing up?
I wanted to be either a Nurse or a Pediatrician. I don't know why I didn't pursue either career. Maybe I thought I wasn't smart enough. I don't know. I think once my littlest child starts school I will go back to school and become a Nurse. I'll only be 33. That's not too old is it? LOL!!!
