My name is Jon, but my friends call me JP.. There's me with my huge smile!! LOL!! Actually that pic was taken at Disney by one of our kids and I threw em one of my sarcastic poses when they yelled, "Smile!".. I'm not angry, just being a doofus...heh!!
I was born at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson, NJ and grew up in Wayne, which is about 50 minutes west of Manhattan, NYC
I WAS a heavy gamer (until I came here - LOL!) I still play World of Warcraft and Call of Duty now and then, but I'm really into the SingSnap thing now!!
I've always had an interest in computer technology. My first computer was given to me when I was 9 years old. It was a Commodore 64 and I was on that thing all the time!!
I used to run a Color-64 Bulletin Board System back in the day. BBS's were the way to communicate online via a telephone modem before the Internet was introduced to the public.
I taught computer technology at one of the local elementary schools for a few years and I now own and operate my own computer training and repair business.
My girlfriend's name is Linda and we've been together for over 2 years now.. She is a great person and I'm very lucky to have her in my life.
She is also a huge fan of karaoke and a SingSnapper as well!! Her SingSnap name is Lindy so be sure to check her out too!! :)

Not only do I enjoy singing, but I really enjoy hearing other people's songs too!! I never leave a comment until the whole song plays through, so if I am behind, I apologize, but I like to hear the whole song!! :)
My favorite genres of music are: Oldies, Folk, Pop, Hip Hop, Old School Rap, Blues, Jazz, Bluegrass and Country..
