I love art in all forms, especially music and theatre. It awakens my senses, which need to be aroused constantly. I have many interests and can talk about almost anything under the sun, yet my ideas on politics and religion are basically on the fence. I value honor and integrity. I don't care for controlling people nor do I like to control. That might be why I have remained UNmarried for the last 15 years. I have a no-nonsense flair to me, and can be spontaneous or dormant. I love a good laugh, to sing a torchy song, or just groove (or step) to something grown 'n sexy.
Some of my musical influences would be Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Teena Marie, Diana Ross (unconsciously, lol) among others I cannot think of now but will update when I can!
I would like to enjoy SingSnap MY WAY. That is, listen and respond to others on SingSnap WiTHOUT OBLIGATION. I'm very disheartened with those that just blast every online person with a generic comment for the sake of obtaining hits on their own recordings, most of time that are not even worth listening to. I think that is juvenile. (That's right - I said it, and I'm gonna say it again - keep reading) Who has that kind of time on their hands? Don't we live in an overscheduled society as it is?

I seek and appreciate good singers on here, not the envious driven ones who are only trying to overshadow the spotlight of the truly talented. Whatever reason their drive is on that mission, I wish they could find another option. Instead find YOUR TRUE TALENT (that doesn't involve evilness) and nurture it.
I don't claim to be the once and future Mariah Carey, Beyonce, or Whitney Houston, otherwise I'd be shelving Grammy's right? Still, I humbly appreciate and highly value all sincere, honest and true comments. The simple fact that you actually listened to my recordings or view my videos brings a great sense of validation and I am truly honored that you do listen to me. To comment in honesty is even MORE appreciated. Have class and critique me if you will!
I have enjoyed meeting some great people on this site. If they can sing - great, but if not, that's fine too. I still enjoy their company. However, I regret you will no longer find me playing the SS Pokemon game on here by trying to collect the most "fans". It doesn't suit my swag.
I admit to being guilty of saying someone sounds "Great", "Fabulous", "Fantastic", when the truth of the matter is THEY SUCK (at singing)! I am tired of lying to you and to myself. In the wake of this realization, I bury that method of madness. It's not good for me nor you. Some people need to hear the truth so they'll quit terrorizing us. Yep - I SAID IT AGAIN! LOL So if you see your recording has 150 hits and 3 comments, please get a clue! You might think any hit is a good hit, but they can also be studying you or clowning you. Maybe, I said MAYBE, they are speechless from your talent, or lack thereof. Something to think about. I'd still rather have a small group of quality friends on here than a 1,000 so called fans who just got sucked into your gimmick! But in the end all that matters is if it is entertaining--right?
Have you noticed the RATINGS feature is pointless? If you even bother to rate someone it will give them a 5.0 anyway! How passive-aggressive is that?!
