All my songs here and on Bix so far have been recorded with the mic built into my webcam picking up both my voice and the music track from the speakers. I have playing around with different Mac compatible software options to get the track independent of my voice, but the recording quality has not improved from what I have tried so far. I'm going to keep researching and hopefully will be able to come up with a better system.
My SingShot entries rely on syncing my voice to the music track which records independently of my mic input with their Flash recorder, so I wear headphones when I sing there. Unfortunately, the synching does not always match exactly, and my last recording there sounds lagged.
