Okay here's an update for my SS buddies. I've been away for too long, what a year...
At the start of 2009 I woke up without a voice, it just disappeared without reason.
By March I was getting some kind of gastro everytime I ate, especially red meat.. another mystery (I'm a carnivorous girl).
By May I couldn't eat anything at all, couldn't swallow. My weight was falling off me at an alarming rate, from 95kgs down to 65kgs in 2 months. All the while my stubborn self thought if I just keep doing Yoga and running I'll get better... The Dr's told me I made it worse.
In July I was diagnosed with Stage 2.5 Cervical Cancer (pre-chemo stage). I was operated on immediately, half a dozen tests later, weeks of waiting and recovery, I was cleared!!! :) Just like that!
How lucky can a girl be :)

Things have been real tough, especially for my lil boy and my man. But how can I complain, I am alive and I'm gettin better so FAST!
So I'm back to test out my voice and see how I go ;)
