Hello my name is Thelma and I was born in the mountains of West Virginia, raised on a small farm where my mom and dad grew and canned 90% of our food. Also raised the meat we had on our table. I thank God for my heritage and two wonderful parents and two brothers.
When I was a Jr. in high school I met my husband to be. God blessed us with one son, Gary and one daughter, Brenda and 5 wonderful grandsons.
My husband passed away in 1992. We were married 41 years.
God has blessed me in many ways but the greatest blessing was when I ask Jesus to come into my life. When I look back on different phases of my life, I know that without Jesus as my Lord and Savior I would never have had the blessings He has bestowed upon me. I am so glad God has never given up on me.
When I taught the Jr. Girls in sunday school, one girl brought me a poster which said, "BE PATIENT WITH ME GOD ISN'T FINISHED WITH ME YET."
I want to thank everyone for sharing your talent and your laughter with me in sing snap. I have meet a lot of wonderful people. One of Gods great gifts is friendship. I have meet balkarexp in person and she is like a sister to me. I want to thank her for all her help and patience with me. Live every day to its fullest cause we have no promise of tomorrow.
