I was born in Waterloo, Iowa and raised in the west. In 1949 I finally came to rest back in Iowa. I served six years in the U.S. Navy,(1957-1963.) I moved to Mn. in 2001 to marry Vivian,( Mitt4Kitts,) who I met on the web. Vivian is my salvation.
I became a self made poet and writer be cause of Manic Depression. I found out that if I write it helps to keep my thoughts straight. Writing poetry helps even better. My poetry is not the classic kind filled with thees and thous, but the home spun type filled with you and me words. My wife says that I have a very vived imagination and a lot of memories to help me write. My best insperations come from God. I truly believe that he guides my hand at times and has me write what he wants me to say. I am not a pro in any sense but I will say that with God's help, I can write most of my poems in one setting of about an hour or less. Well, this is who I am, just a sinner held in the arms of Jesus.
