I am only here to sing and share in the gift of music; it soothes the soul and keeps us grounded. Live life to the fullest, cherish every moment given to us, love with complete abandonment and never have any regrets; there are lessons to learn from each person whose path we cross and in each experience we share daily. Love is still the single, most pure, positive force in the universe! BIO: My love of music started very early on in life; singing in the church choir in the small town in Saskatchewan where I was born. We moved to Alberta just before my 9th birthday and immediately my music teacher took me under her wing and had me competing in the Provincial contests, amazingly enough, singing opera (which I was not real partial to by the way). At the age of 11, I made a drastic swing and joined Safety Roundup, a local country western group who were televised on a local station weekly. We also travelled around the Province singing at old folks homes, prisons, patrol rallies and carnivals; a real blast for one so young. Shortly before my 13th birthday, I was asked to join the Young Canadians, which was a true honor, but one that I declined. Since that time, I tried my hand at singing with a local band for a short time, but my time was spent mostly raising my three beautiful children who are my pride and joy (all grown and moved away from home now), running karaoke for a few years and singing at the occasional wedding for friends and family. Singing has continued to remain a huge part of me and will always be necessary to feed and calm my soul. Singsnap has provided me with the opportunity to continue to sing, even with my busy work schedule and with my self imposed seclusion in my old age..lol. I have referred many to Singsnap in the 2 years I have been here (in a previous ID and this one) and I will continue to do so as I believe anyone who has a song in their soul, should sing it loud and proud!!
