My name is Charlie and I really like trying to sing and hearing others. Thanks for listening and I try to listen as much as I can. I used to play an Eb alto sax when I was a kid. Played in a band when I was 14 until I was 21. Mostly at churches, high schools,colleges and an Air force base NCO and Officer's clubs in and around Macon,Georgia. It was mainly big band work and some quartet. I quit for various reasons and ended up in Oregon with 4 kids and 7 grandkids. ***************************************************************** I never did sing until I joined SingSnap. and it has been a learning process, but I am glad I found an outlet for the music which I can now try to express again. I had 3 operations on my throat when I was young, and I never thought my voice would stand up to trying to sing, but if I pace myself I have been OK. **********************************************************************************************************************************
