My Hall of Fame |
This is the place where I like to gather together all of those songs that I like to listen to often. Many are from my friends and occasionally I get to hear a song from someone that I haven't met yet that grabs my attention. I'm NOT a fan of The SingSnap Hall of Fame! Why? I find it amazing at the amount of people that have songs there, not because of any vocal talent, more for the talent they have acquired for begging, spamming and conning others in to nominating them to the HOF! I DO nominate to the Hall of Fame, even though I think it's a waste of time because the top spots are usually taken by the spammers! |
Mother's Pride By my good friend, Tyler (SoundCheck). This is probably the most listened to song for me at the moment: I had originally heard this by George Michael and the video accompanying it was absolutely wonderful but reflected a time gone by. I decided that Tyler's rendition needed a video too, but a more current theme to reflect the dangers our soldiers face every day, this day and tomorrow! This song is very worthy of a top spot in the Hall of Fame and if you agree you can nominate by going to Tyler's Studio and do that thing there! So if you're ready press Here |
Come What May: Another beautiful song by Tyler. The first time I heard this I fell in love with it and like the one above had difficulty in listening to anything else. Talk about being hooked!! If you wish to comment on this song; go Here |

| Dance With My Father: This recently returned from exile after the lic monster got it 18 months ago or so! I have only ever heard Jacquie sing it and I don't care if I hear anyone else sing it; This has such a special place in my heart! Jacquie sang it for me following the death of my father. I thank her from the bottom of my heart for singing it again and once more dedicating it to me. Please leave a comment Here | |
| Theme From The Valley of The Dolls Jacquie (Snickersmom) is my Forever Friend since our days at Sims. Not only is she a wonderful person, she has a wonderful voice too, and this one really shows off her beautiful style. She can sing just about anything. If you like this as much as I do then leave a comment Here |

| A Special Video and Song for Melody by BLAWAH2000! The video is self explanitory and the song that is a dedication is sublime! The event it advertises is over but the reason for the event is a life long commitment of care and love and financial need! No doubt there will be charities in your area that supports "RETTS" Syndrome which is a rare neurological disorder affecting mainly females and very few males. People with Rett syndrome have profound and multiple physical and learning disabilities and are totally reliant on others for support throughout their lives. Rett syndrome is the most common genetic cause of severe disability in females!!
Not that she needs fans or comments; she has plenty already and for the very right reasons; she is PHENOMINAL! Leave a comment Here |

The Glory of Love: At this rate the Hall of Fame is going to have to be renamed "Jacquie Best Bits" LOL She is seriously singing some amazing songs and owning them. This is one of her and now my favouries: Leave a comment: Here |

Lucky: This was lost during the licencing cull and then I managed to lose it when I reorgnised my front page but thanks to Janni; I have been able to put it back in its rightful place! Such an amazing, beautiful duet with Janni and Cantare! Thank you both for a wonderful song; sung to perfection! |
|
Anymore: Sung by BrianWilhelm is one I came across after my friend Julie kind of challenged me to sing it! She suggested listening to the original artist; Travis Tritt but to be honest I couldn't think of following him; So, I checked out a few Snappers versions and came across this rendition! I swear; this is ten times better than the original in my humble opinion! He has one of the BEST country voices I have heard! This guy could make it big!! Please leave a comment Here |

Someday: An absolutely beautiful, soft and gentle song sang to perfection by my good friend Jacquie (Snickersmom). I almost melted in to a puddle of humanity as I listened to this over and over! This is one of the reasons why I dislike the HOF so much; this is so worthy of one of the top places; yet it will be held back by spammers!!!! Grrrrrrrr Please leave a comment for Jacquie Here |

| Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me) is such an awesome song by The Temptations made in to a pretty good duet by Babyface and Gwyneth Paltrow. However, listen to my great friend Jackie (Blue-Nightingale) and Carol (Just4The Fun) take it to a new and all time level! Now this is what I call raising the bar! Absolutely FANTASTIC: Please leave a comment Here | |
| Feels Like Home: My dear friend Jackie (Blue-Nightingale) has one of those voices that really knows human anatomy, and is one of the few that can really touch my soul! I love this song and having lost another wonderful rendtion of it to the licence monster I am so glad to be able to replace it with this one: By all means listen to Jackie's beautiful version here and do please leave a comment Here | |
| Wasted on the Way: Suzie ( SuzieQ992) is happy with her new PC :) I'm happy with her new PC too when she is producing fantastic songs like this on it! Suzie has one of those voices that just lights up the world around you as you listen to her; pure as crystal and twice as gorgeous! This is a new song for me, so to hear it for the first time and put it right here, as well as nominate for the HOF, says a lot about what I think of it! Please leave a comment for Suzie Here | |
| Tennessee Flat Top Box: By my wonderful friend Diane (HootinNanny) is just another example of her wonderful, rich and warm voice! I have yet to listen to a song from Diane that hasn't moved me either to tears or to smiling like a mad man. This one made me smile! If you wish to leave a comment then you can do by going Here | |
| Solitaire: Tracy (Catbirdkitten) has one of those voices that most people could only ever hope to dream of having; it is warm, vibrant, powerful and tender! I've been wanting to put one of her songs on here since I started the page and have managed to mess around with this recording to enhance the background music. I hope I have done it justice! |
|
| Nowhere Man: I'm quite ashamed to say that I was never in to the Beatles until hearing people on here sing their songs, many are good, some are brilliant and very rarely you come across someone that does as good a job as the original..... this is one such time. I've just listened to my friend Terry (Reaper51) sing Nowhere Man and was just blown away by it. Take a listen and leave a comment in his studio Here |
|
| Have I Told You Lately That I Love You by Damiens! Definitely the best rendition of this song I have heard anywhere. Awesome and so worth a listen. Go and leave a comment Here | |
| Fields of Gold: There will always be one song that can touch a person so deeply that when they hear it, the world around them stops moving and all there is IS the song! This song "Fields of Gold" although written and performed by Sting was transformed by the amazing late Eva Cassidy, and it is her version that makes my world stop turning for the few minutes that it takes to play it. My friend Donna (RNNAL) has sung an amazingly beautiful rendition of this song and it is my privilege to show it here: However, please do go to her studio and leave a comment, if you wish: Here | |
| Spanish Eyes: I never really 'loved' this song as done by the original artist but hearing Carrie (Starzona) sing it has cracked any reservations I might have previously had about the song. This is how it should have been done in the first place!!! Absolutely gorgeous! Go leave a comment here: Here |
|
| Calling all Angels: Kathy (Songbird18_) really does live up to her nickname and when you hear her version of you will understand completely why I think so. Truly a mesmerising sing of this beautiful song. Go visit her song here and leave a comment: Here |
|
| At This Moment: Char (KOOLBEANZ) is in my opinion one of the most, if not the most gifted singer on SingSnap. I don't have any doubts that she could be world class too! Instead, she has become a lawyer!!! Hell, I'd commit an offence just to have her defend me, as long as she sings as she reads over depositions! lol I could have picked any one of Char's sings to put here but I've just heard this one and decided that someone stumbling across my page would appreciate it just as much as I do. Visit her studio and this song here, leave a comment why don't you: Here (just be careful what you write.... did I say that she's now a lawyer?) |
|
| Chasing Pavements: Jacquie (snickersmom) is a wonderful, forever friend of mine, and my own little Hall of Fame would not be complete without one of her wonderful songs gracing it. I love this song and I especially love Jacquie's voice singing it..... I honestly believe it is better than the original, oh yes I do!!! You can always enjoy this at Jacquie's studio here and leave a comment: Here | |
| The Song Remembers When: I was being too lazy to search out my Trisha Yearwood album to remember how this song should sound so checked out a fair few Snappers' versions and was so pleased to have come across mybabyshea. I almost thought it was Trisha herself singing it it is THAT good. Amazingly, I am only the second person to have listened to it and it has been here sing February! I'm hoping that if you come across this on my page you will visit the song in mybabyshea's studio and leave a comment: Here | |
| You Are Loved (Don't Give Up): Tyler just blew me away with this beautiful rendition of this wonderful Josh Groban song that he dedicated to his mom. Sadly the song was removed from SS and it is no longer possible to leave comments. You can still listen to it by pressing Play | |
| The Mummers' Dance: If you haven't yet had the pleasure of hearing my good friend Jackie (blue-nightingale) sing and take in one of her wonderful video accompaniments, now is your chance. This is such a beautiful song, sung to perfection with one of the most beautiful video's to watch as you melt with her voice: To visit the original and leave a comment, go here: Here | |
| God on the Mountain: Diane and Barb, sisters you know :) Individually they have gorgeous voices and when they come together to perform their amazing duets I know that all is well in my world, and I know that they have been well fed! lol This song is a new one on me and hearing this gorgeous sister act sing it brings me nothing but pleasure, and a few tears. Simply gorgeous! | |
| Breakfast in America: Stephanie deBruijn: By far, one of the most awesome female vocalists I have EVER had the pleasure of listening to. Her warm, smoky vocal style had me hooked from the very first time I heard her sing. Stephanie isn't just an exceptional vocalist, she is also one of the warmest, most sincere people I have ever met on-line (I'm sure it's true of her in person too.) Here she is singing Breakfast in America: See more of her in her studio, you will NOT be disappointed! Here | |
| Try a Little Tenderness: This IS one of the best performances of this song I have EVER heard.... anywhere! Check out Mimi's Studio for some awesome songs: Here | |
