I am open for any duets. I really enjoy the contrast of singing with another voice.
I was born in the 1950s and a teenager in the 1960s, one of the greatest decades in music I believe. My family is all musical, either vocally or instrumentally. My husband is learning to play guitar and has a great baritone/base voice (Esteban52 on singsnap). He has done solos for years. My son plays guitar and was in a Christian band in high school that made it to the top 10 in the nation at the finals in Austin TX. My daughter has a great voice, plays several instruments, has sung with the Philadelphia Pops ...and then there is me.I don't play anything except the radio (not funny right). I sing all the time. In the car, the shower, around the house. For years my husband and I were part of the worship team at our church singing with ensembles and doing duets as well.
I am really stretching myself here on singsnap. I am finding that the more I sing and stretch my range the more I can do. After all most anything you practice if you have any ability will continue to get better. I always hated doing any solo parts in front of ppl. Now that I am past 50 I don't worry what people think of me. I know that my voice is not terrific but I have fun and that is what this site is for.
