I'm a 100% coonass(cajun to some) singing in french is my number one love.I do this at home with my guitar singsnap doesn't offer cajun french songs.I also love to cook it is a sort of therapy for me and i like my own cooking so that's the only downfall.I maintain a 360 page on Yahoo and now i'm into this. I play guitar both acoustic and electric,i'm into the guitar heavy i play it better than i can sing for sure.I'm approaching retirement here in about 1yr and and my plans are to play music in a cajun french band.I'm also a former marine,vietnam vet. and a die hard patriot.I love this country and the men and women who serve in our military.Semper Fi......
I've decided to add some more to my profile so that people will understand more about me.I came to singsnap to try and develop my voice.I have only been singing about three years.Never sang a note until then and what made me start was the death of my youngest brother.His life was taken by a drunk driver and was probably the hardest thing i ever had to deal with.My life took almost a 180 degree turn when i lost him.I really don't think anybody would have liked the old me very much.I was for lack of a better word a real dick-had alot of hate in me.I also suffer from PTSD and attend group sessions at the VA.I was diagnosed about the same time i lost my brother.I have meet some good people here and really enjoy my relationships with them.I never though that i would ever do this singing thing but God touched me three years ago.I'm not a real religous person but i do believe and even when i had turned my back on him he never gave up on me.For that i'm thankful......
P.S. Have been married 35 yrs. to a wonderful lady - She is my life......She's also my harshest critic - She doesn't mind telling me i suck LOL......
