Welcome!! Karaoke is but the newest of a long line of obsessions I enjoy in my spare time. I live in Florida so I love going to the beach, I live a few minutes away from Cocoa Beach and six miles from Kennedy Space Center. When the shuttles launch, the launch blast takes approximately 38 seconds to reach us and the air itself vibrates with 90 seconds of sustained thunder. Even just standing in my front yard, it's a experience of a lifetime every launch. And soon the shuttles will be just memories, but the Atlas rockets that will replace them will give many more launches to enjoy in the years to come.
I'm first and foremost a digital artist. I compose landscapes, nature and beach scenes I create with rendered 3D software. I don't have a webpage, but I do have an online gallery at artwanted.com. UPDATE: Inspired by a write-your-own parody catogory in a local karaoke contest, I have submitted three for your approval.
Buh-Buh-Buh-Brett Favre and the Jets is about the legendary Green Bay Packer who, like the Energizer Bunny will someday, just keeps unretiring, and unretiring, and unretiring... that parody is listed listed under the title of the original song, Elton John's Bennie and the Jets.
The second, Get Over Bush,is a politically incorrect song [based on Get Over It, an Eagles' Don Henley's bash on VictimTV shows like Oprah and Maury Provich] and is about liberals refusing to shut up about George Bush after he's gone (I am a Libertarian, so I have no political party axe to grind, for whatever that's worth).
The third, Don't Let the Polls Go Down On Me, is based on another Elton John song, Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me, and Is about President Obama's administrations falling popularity jepordizing their agenda, and their inability to understand that the crowds have stopped cheering and actually expect him to live up to his grandiose campaign promises. It's kinda sad, but there's a surprise that captures the mood in Washington to a tee. Of course, if you're overseas this isn't terribly relevant, but it's an important current event here in the States.
