I live in a small, rural town in south central Michigan, surrounded by lots of lakes, fields and forests...a little bit of rolling hills, it's a beautiful part of the state! Vegetable and flower gardening are some of my summer hobbies, besides making crafts, fishing, biking or just lazin' around.

Even though I don't live in the country anymore, I still consider myself a 'country' girl, having had horses and all sorts of critters at one time. We live on the edge of town now, where there are large fields and a path to the river, thank goodness...I'd go crazy if I was totally surrounded by cement!

I have a grown son who has two wonderful little boys and they live in Arizona, and it sure breaks my heart that I can't see them more often. I may have to become a 'snowbird'!! ;-)

My dad was from West-By-God-Virginia and he was the most excellent guitarist and singer! He could finger pick a guitar and sing/harmonize like nobody I've ever heard! He sure had an ear for music. It's through him that I have grown my deep respect and love for the good ole' country music from his day, the Grand Ole' Opry, Chet Atkins, Hank, Patsy, Merle and all the greats of a grand ole' era!

I was Blessed to be able to sing and record with my dad, via a digital tape recorder that my brother gave to each of us...and we'd all three get together on the internet and send each other songs and record our tracks and then mix them....so now I have my dad's singing and guitar playing always close to me.

If I'm not singing, I'm drawing. I'm a graphic illustrator and sell my art online at POD (print on demand) shops.
