Does she even realize what she has done to me, to us?
The irreparable damage, the broken trust,
The fact that she has ripped my heart out of my chest and stomped all over it
with her lies, the deceit.
That the realization that I was being used all this time
That she knew what she was doing and what the consequences would be
The slaughter of a pure and innocent and total love
And yet she kept on doing it.
Why did she hurt someone so badly.
The pain returns every time we argue, with every angry word that
comes from her mouth, with every insult, the wound tears open and
my heart empties. With every rejection. With every lost kiss, every lost touch.
The realization that I am nothing at all. A source of heat maybe but nothing real.
Someone that can be quickly lost and forgotten and hurt without a second thought.
That's me.
One day soon I will fall into shattered pieces of nothing.
